    • During the one year of internship, students can work with hospitals and health care centers as consultants, physicians, and other medical assistants. They can also work with health camps organized by the governments and make the public aware of several diseases, health, and fitness through various conferences. This helps the student get to know about what a doctor's job requires and gain some first-hand knowledge.
    • After completing the course along with the internship students are entitled to the term Dr. and they can enroll themselves in the medical council of India. Then students have to make a decision whether to pursue higher education in health and go for MD/MS or enter the health field as a doctor. If you continue to pursue education you can work as a research assistant or at pharmaceuticals.

    • Students who have passed class 12 with subjects like chemistry, biology, and physics.
    • Students who have studied English as it is required for the qualification exam
    • It is necessary for a student to be 17 years old at the time of admission
    • The upper limit to apply for the MBBS program is 25 years.
    • Candidates from reserve categories have a cutoff percentage of 40
    • General category study must have 50% marks in intermediate exams

    What do you study during your 5-year course?

    • The students study a no. of various subjects during their 5 years. In the first year of MBBS, 3 subjects are included Anatomy, Physiology, and biochemistry. In the second year of MBBS pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, and forensic medicine are included.
    • After that for 2 more years, there are clinical subjects that contain preventive and social medicine, ophthalmology, and ENT in the third year. In the 4th year, students study medicine, surgery, pediatrics and gynecology, and obstetrics.
    • Followed by 1 year of compulsory internship. There is almost a similar pattern for students who study abroad however, the no. of years may differ.
