Curriculum Vitae or CV is a written overview of a person's educational qualifications and other experiences. The CV holds the complete profile of the person including his full name, address, phone number, email id, educational qualifications, hobbies, soft skills, hobbies, etc. 2 or 3 A4 size pages must be the limit for an ideal CV.

You don't need to provide your salary history, photo, references and the reason for leaving your previous job in the CV. These details should only be provided to the recruiter on special requests.

CV full form

CV does not contain more than 2 pages in most of the commonwealth countries like the United Kingdom and Ireland. Here, you only need to provide a summary of the employment history of the candidate, educational information and some personal information. A photo of the applicant is required in some parts of Asia, including the date of birth, and most recent salary information.

CV and Resume Differences

There is a little difference between a CV and a Resume, even though they are both used for almost identical purposes.
