What is EVS?
EVS or Environmental Studies is basically the study of nature, and the environment. It involves the study of the pollutants in nature, climatic changes, air conditions and conditions of everything living in the earth's atmosphere.
A wide range of subjects are covered by EVS as a subject and it attempts to teach students about the day to day life in the atmosphere of the earth. Everything that supports life on the planet earth directly or indirectly comprises the environmental components such as plants, animals, or insects as well as the other non-living things like air, water and soil. As all the living organisms interact with each other, this becomes the main cause of environmental change.
The pollutant levels are increasing at an alarming rate polluting most of the layers of the earth's atmosphere, land and water, with the exponential increase in capitalistic exploits and globalization.
